The Bugatti Chiron is a mid-engine two-seater sports car developed and manufactured in Molsheim, France by French automobile manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S.. The successor to the Bugatti Veyron, the Chiron was first shown at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March 2016.
The Chiron is Bugatti’s natural successor to the Veyron. Powered by a 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine that makes a whopping 1500PS of power and 1600Nm of torque, the Chiron can do the 0-100kmph run in just 2.5 seconds. Power is sent to all four wheels by a Haldex All-Wheel-Drive system and the top speed of the Chiron is limited to 420kmph. The Chiron’s only real competition in terms of a production car are the Koenigsegg Agera RS and Hennessey Venom GT. Bugatti will build the Chiron only in limited numbers, 500 to be exact.
